View Details →The development objective of KP-RIISP is to increase access to resilient and reliable basic services for households living in the Merged Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project is expected to directly benefit around 4.5-5.5 million people living in the eight merged districts and the six frontier regions.

Our project operates through five specialized Project Implementation Units (PIUs), each focusing on critical sectors that collectively contribute to sustainable rural development and improved quality of life in the newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Enhancing agricultural productivity and rural livelihoods through modern farming techniques, crop diversification, livestock development, and farmer training programs.
Building robust infrastructure and connectivity to improve access, enhance economic opportunities, and connect remote communities to markets and services.
Developing sustainable water management systems for agricultural and domestic use, including canal rehabilitation, water conservation, and efficient irrigation techniques.
Ensuring clean water supply and sanitation facilities for improved public health, including water treatment plants, distribution networks, and waste management systems.
Strengthening local governance and institutional capacity for effective service delivery, transparency, and community participation in development processes.
Through coordinated efforts across all five components, KP-RIISP creates synergistic effects that amplify development outcomes and build sustainable foundations for long-term prosperity.
