PIU PHED: Clean Water, Sanitation & Healthy Communities
The Project Implementation Unit (PHED) focuses on sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) interventions. We provide safe drinking water and modern drainage systems to eliminate water-borne diseases and improve the quality of life for rural families.
Safe Water Supply: Installation of solar-powered tube wells and high-tech filtration plants to remove contaminants like arsenic and bacteria.
Piped Networks: Development of overhead reservoirs and distribution lines to ensure reliable, clean water reaches every household.
Modern Sanitation: Construction of underground sewerage, covered drains, and septic systems to prevent water stagnation and environmental pollution.
Waste Management: Establishment of solid waste disposal sites and segregation systems to keep villages clean and reduce vector-borne diseases.
Health Impact: Verified 40–60% reduction in water-borne illnesses (Cholera, Typhoid, Hepatitis), leading to a healthier, more productive workforce.
Sustainability: Formation of community WASH committees and technician training to ensure long-term maintenance and climate-resilient operations.
